Ruth E. Holmes, C.D. E. and Sarah E. Holmes, M.A. are professional handwriting and document examiners whose forensic and personnel consulting firm, Pentec, Inc., advises individual, legal and corporate clients in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Now located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and Duxbury, Massachusetts, Pentec, Inc. works frequently for human resource divisions, financial institutions, police departments and manufacturers. They have worked as jury consultants with some of the leading attorneys in the country.
Ruth is court qualified as an expert witness in Federal, State and local courts. She lived eleven years in Brussels, Belgium, and Abidjan in the Ivory Coast, West Africa, and has appeared on CBS News, Discovery, CNBC, BBC, Canada AM, Court TV and Dateline/NBC. Former President of the International Women’s Forum–Michigan, on the Board of Directors of Women Officials Network who named her a 2014 Wonder Woman, Ruth was named by the National Association of Women Business Owners 2010 Innovator of the Year and previously one of Michigan’s Top 10 Women Business Owners. In March 2002 Corp! magazine listed her among “Michigan’s 95 Most Powerful Women.”
Sarah is court qualified as an expert witness and has promoted the value of handwriting for major corporations at conventions across the professional spectrum. She has lectured on the subject to many groups around the country and has been reported in the Boston Globe, Penworld, DM News and numerous local papers. She graduated from Boston University in May of 2002 with a Master of Arts in Psychology and now works from the Boston office of Pentec, Inc.
